The Patriot Act is unpatriotic
Rating: 1

The Bush Administration has a great ability of titling various provisions revoking our rights with positive associations. We associate "Patriot Act" with patriotism, but instead of evoking a love of America and its citizens, the Patriot Act takes away our right to privacy, a fundamental liberty granted to us by the constitution. Bush claims that terrorists "hate us for our freedoms." I wonder how that could possibly be true, since Bush has taken most of those freedoms away.
