Protect the innocent

Argument in favor of The death penalty is a valid means of punishment

Protect the innocent
Rating: 1

An eye for an eye is the states right. An eye for an eye only speaks of being just and fair. The state should represent the people. Murder is taking a life in an unjust manner. The state isn't always right but if we are to say the state makes mistakes thus we can't ever have justice of any kind, then injustice and crime will rise because everyone will be afraid to do what's right because they can't do it perfectly. Speaking of injustice, why should the criminal get any funds from taxpayers. Consider the victims relatives and family that now have to support the murder for life out of their funds. No free hand outs for criminals. No victimizing society a second time. Is it just that the state sometimes lets these people back into society and they do it again. How backwards society has become to victimize the victims and let the murders back into our society. We shouldn't save murders we should get better laws and try to do a better job judging.
