Huckabee graduated from Hope High School in 1973. He was president of his graduating class. Huckabee graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a B.A. in religion, which he completed in 2.5 years. He then attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, but dropped out to become a Christian Broadcaster. He received a honorary doctorate from John Brown University in Humane Letters in 1991, and an honorary Doctor of Laws from Ouachita Baptist University in 1992.
